A vehicle diagnostic program that performs various checks and tests on vehicles or modules. The functions offered are: reset and programming functions, graphic data display, pin switching, actuator tests, etc. CSV data files importing is also available.
Multiecuscan is a powerful and reliable vehicle diagnosis application that supports various models of hardware interfaces required to connect to the cars' electronic systems. Besides the ubiquitous OBDKey and OBDLink models, Multiecuscan can be used with KL (former VagCom 409), the popular ELM327 OBD microcontroller, and CANtieCAR interfaces. Therefore it can be used for a large variety of cars, from VAG-supported ones (Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, and Skoda), to Renault, Peugeot, Suzuki, Ford, Toyota, Jeep, Chrysler, Lancia, Dodge, and so on.
Multiecuscan comes in three editions, and the free one of these comes with various licensing restrictions and less available features. For example, parameter monitoring while executing an actuator test is not supported in the free version of Multiecuscan. On the other hand, the free edition of Multiecuscan still supports plenty of cool features and functions. For example, it can read ECU identification, can clear fault codes and read diagnostic data for the free modules, can export the data to CSV files, and more. There are also detailed descriptions of various parameters, errors, and other data, even in the free edition, and in multiple languages. Last but not least, you can run a simulation ECU scanning mode without an actual hardware interface to see what kind of results this tool usually provides before actually putting it to work.
In conclusion, Multiecuscan remains an undeniably handy vehicle diagnosis tools as it offers a lot of advanced functions and it’s easy-to-use.
