MusicScore is a program that offers to its users all the necessary tools to create, customize and share music.
The moment you enter the program, you realize that in order to use it you need to have at least some basic music creation knowledge, such as notes, instruments, and staves. Even though you possess this kind of knowledge, the GUI might seem complex for a novice user. It has two skin themes, grey and dark, both having a professional look. The menu is well-structured and delimited, the buttons icons are very visible and responsive at the same time.
Besides having a comprehensive design, MuseScore has multiple supported file formats and numerous visual and technical customization options.
It provides support for a wide range of formats, from MID, WAV, FLAC, OGG to PDF and PNG. This way, depending on necessities, the user always has an export option to choose from.
With MusicScore, you can write music for different instruments, such as piano, guitar, orchestra, jazz, choir, or band, each instrument having its personalized features.
Moreover, this program allows you to transfer to and from other programs through MusicXML or MIDI.
All in all, MusicScore comes as a software solution for individuals who love music, but love to create more, and who have a certain degree of understanding music notes and staves. Besides this, the program is highly responsive, has an attractive interface and multiple useful features.
