It's a first-person psychological horror game about a young girl living inside a basement, away from the outside world that's been infected by a deadly disease. Her only contact is her 'papa' who gives her medication to prevent infection.
As the story in my eyes deceive progresses, things suddenly change when her papa goes missing for two days, and she starts to think about why she feels nauseous and tired all the time. She decides to pretend to take the pills when instructed next time around and see what happens.
The events that transpire next due to this decision have her go down and a dark and disturbing dive into the truth. There are two possible endings to the game depending on your actions and decisions. Regardless, the total playtime is short, clocking in at a couple of hours.
Simply put, my eyes deceive is a must-play if you're into psychological narrative games. It sets the story up so you have direct control over how events unfold is something that must be experienced to be appreciated. Just know that it touches on some deeply disturbing themes, so prepare yourself.
