My Splash Effects is an image editor for Mac that gives you access to a wide range of visual effects. You can change the appearance of your favorite photos with just a few clicks, compare the original picture with the end product, and export the resulted images to formats like JPEG, PNG or TIFF.
After you select the input file, you can choose from dozens of visual effects and preview the resulting image before exporting it. Furthermore, the application lets you adjust the levels for saturation, brightness, and contrast according to your needs.
You can save the final result to your local drives or print it directly from the app's interface with just a few clicks.
I didn't like the fact that the program can export the results only to three file extensions (JPEG, TIFF, and PNG) especially since it works with so many input image formats (JPEG, PNG, HDR, PDF, PSD, GIF, etc.). In addition, you can't process more than one picture at a time.
Probably, there are better solutions for applying visual effects to your pictures. Still, My Splash Effects comes with no price tag and offers a great diversity of effects and a rather pretty interface, so it is definitely worth trying.
