MySpidero Scan is an application that easily and simply connects your HTML5 and JavaScript application with a barcode or QR code scanner and with a magnetic stripe reader for credit cards.
You can use your in-house web application with this software, or the default MySpidero application. In the case of hiding a browser navigation row, only your set application will start up. Setting the parameter USB or BlueTooth of the scanner is very simple. The same applies for a USB magnetic stripe reader. The application automatically respects the system settings of printers, including special POS printers.
Scanning can be set in so-called indirect mode, meaning that data is read and displayed in the input field without the cursor being set in it. This facilitates scanning of multiple items without touching the keyboard or screen. The application is especially suitable for implementing Web checkouts and other Web registration applications.
It also includes a demo of the application pos.myspidero.com, which enables you to test the scanner function completely. Instructions are found here as well for connecting to your Web application.
