mySudoku is a Mac app that comes in handy whenever you're on a break from work and wish to put your puzzle solving skills to the test. The game gives you access to an unlimited number of Sudoku puzzles, lets you choose between three levels of difficulty, allows you to change the appearance of the board, and much more.
If you're new with playing this sort of game you should search on the Internet for gameplay instructions and rules, as the developer of mySudoku doesn't offer you any of the aforementioned info. The app brings a very intuitive and customizable interface and gives you direct access to the homepage of the developer.
You won't have access to any hints, though it comes with an option to reveal suggestions for the empty cells (for instance, in an empty cell shows 1,4, and 5 as possible solutions). Plus, the app informs you when you enter the wrong number into a cell.
One aspect I don't like about mySudoku is that fact that you cannot use your keyboard for gameplay. Furthermore, the app lacks an option to save gameplay progress.
Sudoku is one of my favorite puzzle games, though I prefer the paper version as it's a nice way to spend my time away from the monitor. Nevertheless, this application brings you various features and comes without a price. So, I'd say you should install it on your Mac if you're into solving Sudoku puzzles.
