myTunesControl is a small application that offers you a fast and efficient way to manage your iTunes playlists with dozens of hotkeys, and allows you to listen to your favorite music directly from this easy-to-use tool.
Once you launch the program, you will notice its simple and straightforward interface as well as the newly added icon on your status bar. You can either use the utility from its main window or you can control iTunes by right-clicking the keynote icon from the status bar and opting for the desired task (pause, play, next track, mute, etc.).
However, the application comes with predefined hotkeys which can be used while listening to your favorite tunes; you can find these hotkeys in the Preferences menu->Shortcuts, though you are unable to change them according to your needs.
Additionally, you will have access to a built-in equalizer (allows you to adjust the sound frequencies), a small utility that brings you the lyrics for any played tune and a powerful search engine that will help you locate any song/playlist you are looking for.
