This utility is, as its name suggests, a program that helps you control the music being played within iTunes app. With the help of this Mac tool you won't have to pause your current task and switch to iTunes in order to play another track. You can easily do that directly from your Menu Bar.
After you launch MyTunesController and click its "Play" button, the iTunes program is automatically launched and a random song starts playing in the background. From now on, you can control the music you play by clicking the buttons from your Menu Bar.
I like the fact that the program also has options for updating and displaying song lyrics.
Unfortunately, it sometimes fails to display the lyrics for the songs being played within the iTunes application. Nevertheless, the main goal of this program is to provide you with an easy solution for controlling the music you listen with iTunes, a task which is completed flawlessly.
As a conclusion, I'd say it's worth installing this application on your Mac computer. MyTunesController is very simple to handle, uses a small amount of CPU resources while sitting on your Menu Bar, and comes without a price.
