Story modes include both History Mode and Special Story Mode. In History Mode, nostalgia-seekers can immerse themselves in the story of Naruto and Naruto Shippudenall in one game. Intense and epic moments from Chunin Exams to the Fourth Great Ninja War are inserted as anime cutscenes and cinematic graphics for you to relish.
As for Special Story Mode, it is not called as such for no reason. This story mode is exclusively created for the game, which comes with an all-original story. The plot revolves around Boruto and two other characters. During the great peace in the Ninja World, Boruto discovers a popular online game called Ninja Heroes and develops a special relationship with Nanashi. Here, their mission to stop Merz from destroying the Ninja World takes off.
