NetTransport is a utility that comes with two components having similar user interfaces: Net Transport, a download manager, and FTP Transport, an FTP client. NetTransport supports several Internet protocols: HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/Over SSL/Over SSH, RTSP, MMS, BitTorrent, eMule and RTMP/RTMPE/RTMPT.
The download manager presents six tabs in the main work area: the download zone, the proxy area, site explorer, URL sniffer, eMule server and eMule search. Aside from the main screen, an additional small window will overlap any other utility windows, so that you can quickly call the Net Transport window in front of the others. NetTransport allows the user to easily handle downloads, as well as to create torrents and eMule links. Downloads can be scheduled, which means that they can be added to the list and started automatically at a later time. FTP transport comes with a simple user-interface, with different panes for managing each of the following: proxies, quick connections, queues and favorites.
