Nottingham is a simple Mac utility for writing and storing your notes. This program comes in handy if you need to immediately create a shopping list, write down ideas for one of your ongoing projects, keep a diary on your Mac, etc.

The application comes with a very intuitive interface, brings you an effective search tool, and checks and corrects grammar mistakes within moments. It also communicates well with Mac's Dictionary utility. Hit the Control+Command+D keys to reveal the definition of the word underneath your mouse cursor.

Other than that, not much more can be said about this program. It comes with a limited amount of features, some of them being advertised on the homepage of the developer and missing from the app's interface. For instance, I can't find any option to sync the stored notes or to add tags to my entries.

The application also lacks text editing options (for example, page arrangement settings) and the ability to export or print the stored notes.

Even though the app comes without a price, I still don't think it's worth installing it on your Mac. You can find better solution for writing notes.
