Numericon is a matching game in which you must select sequences of numbers in a way that the addition of two or more numbers results in the last number selected. To select the sequences you just drag the mouse on the numbers and press submit. All levels include jewels scattered around the board which give you extra points. Also, you can include bonuses into a sequence to activate them.
What is more, the game includes three modes which have distinctive rules: Adventure, Puzzle and Survival.
In Adventure mode, there is a feather that marks you what is your task in the game. It could be to use the required number of pieces or also use each piece at least once. In this mode, you have to make as many sequences as possible in the allotted time to fill the feather and get to the next level. On the contrary, in Puzzle mode, the objective is to remove all pieces from the board. Finally, in Survival mode, you have to score the maximum amount of points before the time runs out.
Regarding the graphics, they are simple, but yet attractive. Sound effects are ok and the music is pleasant, but repetitive.
In short, Numericon is an original matching game that definitely deserves a try, specially if you like maths.
