O&O DiskRecovery is a Windows utility designed to help you restore files that were accidentally deleted or lost on your PC as well as various external storage containers. The program gives you access to an intuitive interface which consists of a wizard assistant, provides you with to various scan settings, and can recover a wide range of file formats.
You can restore files from your local drives, USB sticks, SD cards, and many others. Furthermore, the program helps you recover photos, videos, PDF documents, music files, etc.
All you need to do is to select the scan location (refresh the given list if the drive you wish to scan isn't displayed), configure the scanning settings according to your needs, and sit back and wait for the results. Unfortunately, you might need to wait a while, especially if you're scanning a large-sized drive.
In my testing, I scanned a 4GB USB stick and O&O DiskRecovery took half an hour to provide me with the results list. Still, it was definitely worth the wait as I was able to restore the needed files.
