Octagon is a challenging yet exciting arcade game that might come in handy while you're on a break from work. The objective of the game is very simple: stay on course as much as you can while avoiding the holes from the floor and the speed bumps from the route.
The app comes with a nice graphics and animations, plays a fitting background music, and enables you to toggle windowed or fullscreen mode whenever you like. You also have access to detailed gameplay instructions and 3 game modes to choose from (Classic, Endless or Daily). Unfortunately, the app doesn't bring you a difficulty level selection. So, you might find it difficult to complete its challenges if you're new to this type of games.
It took me a while to finish the first couple of challenges as I wasn't familiar with this type of games. Yes, the game is very challenging but it's also very entertaining (as long as you don't get mad after a few attempts at completing certain levels).
All in all, Octagon is a fun and addicting game for users of all ages. You should give it a try, especially since you don't have to pay a buck to use it on your Mac.
