Office Tab is a great utility for Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 and 2010. It enables to view, edit and manage multiple documents in one instance of the Office application just like a modern Web browser where users can work in several documents at the same time switching easily between them.

This utility integrates as an add-in in the selected Office applications when installing. It is available for Word, PowerPoint and Excel. This is a great program since it is annoying having to work with multiple instances of the same office application. This way anyone using this add-in will manage multiple presentations, workbooks and text documents at a glance.

A new feature of this version is its compatibility with Microsoft's new Office 2010, as well as the options to control the workbooks, documents and presentations from the tab, where users can lock, close tabs, save and close all and save all.

Other new features concern the looks and action settings. The option center can change settings such as enabling/disabling the tab and the shortcuts, displaying the tab bar above / below / left / right position, choosing the tab style and customizing colors.

On the downside it would have been nice that it could also integrate with MS Visio and MS Project, but aside that it really is a great aid when working with several documents.
