Omni Recover is intended for recovering lost data from iOS devices. In this regard, the tool can rescue a wide range of data types, including messages, photographs, chats, call history and much more.

The application is very easy friendly as most recovery operations are carried out with the help of four-step wizard. For instance, you are prompted to pick the type of iOS device you intend to retrieve lost data from: iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Additionally, the tool lets you use a backup as a source. The following steps depend on your initial selection. For portable devices, they include choosing the source directory and the data types to recover. Likewise, for backups, you need to specify which local copy you want to scan.

Omni Recover generally succeeds in recovering the intended data thanks to its powerful algorithm supporting two recovery modes. The tool is said to work even in such extremely situations such as water damages, but I did not try that. As additional options, you can configure your preferred format for each data type. For instance, you may save Contacts, Calendar and Reminder entries in a CSV file. Similarly, WhatsApp, Safari history, Note, call history and messages can be exported to HTML. It is shame that the application froze once when searching for data.

All in all, Omni Recover is one of your choices when you need to recover lost data from iOS. Since there are multiple similar products, you may want to try a few before making a decision. Fortunately, there is a trial version of this one available from the developer’s site. Finally, if you decide to purchase the full product, you should know there are three licenses: Single, Family and Business.
