Online TV Player is an application for viewing TV channels and listening to radio stations. It comes with a preset list of channels from various countries. The overall design hasn't changed from previous versions, however there are a couple of new skins to choose from.
Both TV and radio stations are situated on the left side of the window in alphabetical order. The list has a filter option where the user can select specific attributes for a channel to have. For example he can choose to see streams from a certain country only. A search bar is also available. The user can search for a specific TV or radio station and can make a list of favorites with its help. One downside of the program is that new streams cannot be added.
The video quality varies and some streams do not load at all. Instead of having its own video player, this application requires both RealPlayer and Microsoft Media Player in order to work properly. This can be a problem for those who do not wish to install additional software. Another issue I've encountered is that some streams cause the program to shut down.
Overall, it isn't the best application for viewing TV online, but it gets the job done. I was more satisfied with its radio streaming capabilities, because I found more stations that worked. On a positive side, it is available in many languages but they have to be downloaded manually.
