Paragon Backup & Recovery Free Edition is a program that will protect your data from disasters by performing secure backups. It will keep backup copies of your valuable data, so you can restore it again if your computer crashes or your hard disk becomes corrupted.
Paragon Backup & Recovery can make backups from any of your hard drives or partitions, and is capable of storing the mirrored files on a LAN drive, a CD/DVD or even an FTP location. This means that you can store your backup data "in the cloud", using paid or free hosting services.
If you create an image of an entire disc, you can later use it to restore an identical copy of your original disk, or to clone it to the other disc.
You can perform backup job manually, or schedule it to be done at a certain time or at specific intervals - since backing up your files to an FTP location can demand several hours, you may prefer to schedule that task to be done late at night.
This edition is free for home users, but the authors will ask you to register anyway. You will then receive an e-mail that will contain the product key and the serial number that you will need to install this program.
