Paranormal Buddies: Book of Shadows is a new PC role playing video game from artist Christopher Laino. The story in this game follows the lives of two teens who are thrust into a strange and seemingly impossible situation after discovering a body buried in a shallow river. As they uncover more about the grave, they begin to connect the dots and piece the mystery together. This PC game has players solving puzzles, using skill and exploration to discover secrets and hidden objects, all while combating monsters that lurk in the shadows.

Paranormal Buddies uses the Unity Web Player platform, a simple graphical user interface, and is free to download and play. There are many online players who play this fascinating PC game; however, I find the graphics quite bare and would improve the graphics quality if funded enough. I also would like to see some more content added, such as short stories or mini-games. The fact that the game only has thirty-five levels is disappointing for those looking for more content, but this is the only complain I have.

Christopher Laino also designed and co-created the popular TV show, The Paranormal Show on SyFy. I'm not a huge fan, but the folks at SyFy are extremely creative and have done a fantastic job of immersing audiences in this interesting television series. If you have never had the pleasure of watching this show, you should definitely check it out. Playing as a professional Paranormal Expert, you'll be exposed to many fascinating situations and the trials and tribulations the team must face in order to put a stop to the worst of human evil. In short, this is one of those PC games you have to try if you have a chance to check it out. Based on a very popular TV show, it's not a surprise that it's going to become a crowd favorite.
