Waiting for an online order to arrive at your front door might prove to be excruciating, especially if you can't reach the driver that brings you your package. Parcel is a program that offers you a solution for the aforementioned issue as it provides you with a quick and easy way to keep track of the whereabouts of the product you ordered.
The application lets you monitor multiple deliveries, automatically syncs stored information across your media devices (smartphone, tablet, etc.), and supports more than 300 delivery companies from around the world. It features a very intuitive interface, is localized in various languages, and uses a small amount of CPU resources.
My only issue with this program is the fact that you need to make an in-app purchase in order to unlock some features (monitor more than 3 orders, remove ads, Push Notifications option). Still, the acquiring price is very cheap and definitely worth if you wish to constantly monitor your deliveries.
In conclusion, it's worth trying this utility on your computer if you need assistance in monitoring your deliveries. This application helps you learn where your order is and when it will arrive at your door. So, it comes as an alternative to calling delivery services and waiting on the phone for a support employee to offer you the information you need.
v2.1 [Sep 12, 2016]
- Sometimes deliveries can have more than one carrier (international postgage is a good example of that). Parcel will suggest you to switch to destination carrier once it has tracking data. This feature is not yet available for all carriers with the full support to be available soon.
- No need to click on refresh button anymore. Updates from other devices (new deliveries added, deletes, etc) are automatically pushed to the app within 20 seconds (requires premium subscription).
- Parcel account email can be changed in the app settings.
- Find on map feature is now far more accurate for those carriers who provide geographic coordinates for their deliveries.
- Dozens of small improvements and bug fixes.
