You control a character whose basic appearance you can customize in the start of the game, and your purpose is to make sure that this character finds the “path to success”, by discovering both efficient solutions for basic needs, and solid ways to move up the career ladder. In other words, you have to balance money, work, fun, health, bills, and other aspects, in such way that the quality of your life is not decreasing but, on the contrary, constantly improving.

The visuals are not great: the graphics are cartoon-like, and they remind more of typical, casual time-management games. Even the character customization screen is limited and unable to produce any thrill. The good news is that the gameplay is actually quite captivating and addictive. There are many locations to explore in the city, numerous career paths, and the additional challenges also add depth to the gameplay. The game is surprisingly complex and comprehensive, considering its subpar graphics.

In conclusion, I think, Path to Success is a nice life simulation game despite its unimpressive visuals. You won't get easily bored while playing it, regardless if you're a fan of this type of games, or not.
