PCMagazine SurfSpeed is a Windows XP or Vista-based real-world surfing speedometer that makes multiple, parallel connections to websites. It downloads entire web pages, including graphics, for a more accurate assessment of internet connection speeds such as cable and DSL. SurfSpeed utilizes popular websites for its standard test suite, but users can also specify their own favorite site for a personal test.
