Another thing I like about PDF Toolbox is that, unlike many similar applications, it offers a tool that enables you to apply visual effects to input documents.
In my testing, I noticed that the PDF to Text utility didn't work as I expected. The application failed on several occasions to preserve the original layout of the input file. Furthermore, you have access to the only one output format (TXT).
To me, all tools except PDF to Text worked flawlessly and offered the results I needed within moments. What's more, the output quality was very good.
