PhotoScape X gives you access to a complete collection of tools to help you view, edit or convert your favorite photographs. The program is compatible with various image formats, supports batch processing, and preserves the quality of the original pictures.
Each of the integrated tools has its own interface and features easy-to-configure output settings. The Batch tool is probably the most useful one, especially if you want to rename, convert, and edit a large number of pictures at the same time, using a single output profile.
The program is also packed with an integrated color picker that provides you with accurate info and a screen capturing utility which immediately generates the snapshots you need.
Two things you need to consider: it occasionally uses many CPU resources (especially when switching between its built-in tools) and the fact that you need to make an in-app purchase in order to have access to all of its features.
In my opinion, it's worth getting this program for your Mac as long as you plan on using it often. It's easy-to-use, provides you with quality output files, and brings you many advantages.
