Picture Ace Lite by UnH Solutions is a freeware solution for Windows.
It has been designed to help us save images when visiting web pages. It installs itself in Internet Explorer. Whenever we visit a web page and want to save a picture, instead of clicking with the right button of our mouse over the picture and select Save Image, Save As, we can open this add-on from the Internet Explorer Tool menu and select the picture and Picture Ace Lite option. Next, we select Save Image and that is it. Depending on our customized settings at startup, it will automatically save the image to the specified folder, to a new folder for that particular web site, or to a new folder for that file type. As regarding the last two options, Picture Ace Lite can create new folders for us, saving us time and effort. We can download this utility directly from the developer's website. There is a similar shareware called Picture Ace, which much more advanced features. It runs under the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows XP, 2000, ME, NT and 98.
