PicWish Background Eraser is available in eight languages as a web-based application. It was also developed by Wangxu Tech as an iOS and Android app. This AI photo editor removes objects, people, and backgrounds. It enables photographers, online retailers, designers, and influencers to optimize their photos quickly and in bulk.

Though similar to Fotor Photo Editor and Adobe Photoshop, this tool works based on inpainting technology rather than close stamping. It's a lot like the Cleanup Pictures app. Essentially, this AI-based photo retouch tool ‘guesses’ what the background should be, removing any objects or even the entire background if needed.

How does it work?

To avail themselves of the PicWish Background Eraser, users must simply upload an image on the PicWish website or download the app for bulk upload. Then, select from eight editing options. Within seconds, the tool will enhance facial features and remove the background, retouch it, enhance it, colorize it, compress it, crop it, and upscale it.

Makes quick work of image editing

Despite the name, PicWish is much more than a background eraser tool. It has the potential to carry out image enhancement and compression at scale. However, it's at a price that does not seem competitive.
