PlayOnMac is a program that allows you to install and run Windows apps on your Mac. This application makes it possible for any Mac user to work with Windows apps and to play games developed for Microsoft Windows with minimum effort.
The program comes with a very easy to use interface and easy to configure app installation settings. A tiresome aspect of using this application is that you need to install an additional tool on your Mac in order to download and install the Windows apps you need on your Mac.
The application provides you with detailed information regarding the offered Windows apps and screenshots of their main window. After checking these details, you can decide whether it's worth downloading and installing the app or not.
Unfortunately, not all offered Windows games are supported yet. The download process freezes or the game fails to launch and displays a message that it "has encountered a serious problem and needs to close."
Still, many of the listed Windows apps might prove to be of great use at some point. And since you don't have to pay to use PlayOnMac, my belief is that it's worth trying this application.
