Poseidon is an editor for the D programming language which uses C-like syntax and static typing. The program doesn't require installation. After unzipping the file, the program can be executed directly from the folder.
The program allows you to select which windows will be displayed. You can open the editor window, the output window, the debug window, and the class browser all inside the main window.
The editor window is where you can type your code. Each line is numbered, and you can insert bookmarks over lines and jump to the next or previous one. You can mark spaces and tab symbols and show the end of lines symbols. You can scroll your mouse to view the lines or open the Go to line feature and enter the line number you want to place the cursor at. You can also use the find/replace feature to search or replace something.
In the debug window you can view the variables, brake points, the watch list, registers, stacks, loaded dlls, and disassembly the code. There are different options to debug the program. You can run the debugger, build and debug, run debugger to cursor, and set breakpoints.
You can also use different options to encode and change the aspect of the editor.
The Remote Debugger Installation is intended for computers without Visual Studio
