PowerFolder is an innovate tool that will let you to share any folder of your hard disk in public or private mode (requires invitation from the owner) trough a local area network or by Internet. You can also synchronize files automatically between two or more PCs. In this way, you will be able to share pictures, videos or any file or folder with your friends, synchronize, for example, your computer at home with your office's PC, and interchange any big content in an easy way.
PowerFolder uses P2P (Peer to Peer) technology, so it does not need a server to be functional. It has a very intuitive and easy to use interface. You can choose among many synchronize modes, and limit the bandwidth you use. Besides, it works over LANs, Internet or in Intranets.
Some interesting features of PowerFolder are:
- You can synchronize some parts of a file that have been modified without having to do a complete synchronization.
- Chat messages are displayed as pop ups on the system tray icon.
- The program will display wizards for any action you want to do, so in this way, any task you desire is really easy to do.
