prEdit is offers a new way to deal with transcripts, story, and the first edit. Starting with transcribed media files, prEdit allows you to quickly subclip the best from the Transcript. You can easily enter log notes, with tools like auto-complete and auto-increment. In addition, you can filter your subclips to find common themes using the transcript text or any logging field. Furthermore, the app allows you to build and refine stories quickly that can be previewed right inside prEdit. Optionally, you can send the story to Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro CS5 as a cut sequence ready for further editing.
