Printopia is intended to allow remote printing from an iOS device. It works by sharing your local printers, physical or virtual, to make them readily accessible from the portable device. Additionally, the tool supports sending documents to given apps or directly to your Dropbox account. It starts automatically with your system, which means that it is available at all times.
Printopia’s interface makes it quite easy to use. It has three tabs. The Overview tab shows a summary of the app’s data together with the number of shared printers and the port number being used. It eliminates a lot of steps by allowing directly printing them without the need to open other applications. Among other advantages, buying the Pro edition eliminates the restriction to only five shared printers of the standard edition.
