PST Bridge is intended for making Outlook messages available for other applications. In this respect, it can open PST files and let you preview their contents on the fly. The application has a nice interface, very similar to that of an email client, so it is unlikely that you have any difficulty to use it.
When you import a PST file, it is immediately opened. Luckily, the original folder structure is kept without any problem whatsoever, which means that you can simply browse the folders and preview the contents of the messages they contain. In this regard, even many types of attachments can be opened and viewed. It is also great that it lets you search items and get results instantly.
There is also the possibility of exporting elements to other application. For instance, you can easily convert messages to MBOX format, which can be later imported by Apple Mail and Mozilla Thunderbird. Likewise, it can export appointments to Calendar and tasks to Reminder. Moreover, it can also export notes and contacts.
To conclude, PST Bridge could be the best solution if you need to access the contents of Outlook PST files on other apps. Most of the limitations of PST Bridge are related to its being a free application that requires getting in-app purchases to unblock certain features. For instance, it only lets you preview the first ten items in each folder. Similarly, it has export restrictions. Unfortunately, it fails to convert messages in languages other than English correctly.
