Pumpkins vs. Monsters is a fun game for Android that will see you pitting your wits – and pumpkins – against an invading army of monsters.
If you’ve ever played Plants vs. Zombies, Pumpkins vs. Monsters won’t be too alien to you. Waves of monsters approach, and to knock them off track you must group 3 or more of the same colored pumpkins before you can flick them down the garden - bowling ball-style - to kill the monsters.
Pumpkins vs. Monsters is made more interesting by the fact that you can buy extra weapons to help you battle the monsters. You earn this money by killing the monsters and collecting the pumpkins and coins left behind. Success in Pumpkins vs. Monsters is measured by how many waves of monster you can repel.
There are lots of good aspects to Pumpkins vs. Monsters, and the game will certainly keep you entertained for plenty of time. That said, it’s not as slick as similar games, which makes it feel a little inferior. Even so, the music is great and the game certainly kept us entertained when testing, so it’s worth the download, even if it’s not exactly top of its class.
