PureSync allows for data synchronization between various types of locations. The application has a very nice and intuitive interface. Most of the work with the tool is based on jobs creation that can be executed either on demand or as scheduled. Fortunately, this otherwise difficult task of configuring jobs is made quite easy thanks to the availability of wizards. Thus, everything becomes as simple as following a series of steps.
As to the use of the application, it supports data synchronization by comparing two locations. The tool can take into consideration various file properties, such as date, size and name. In this regard, one of the most advanced types of synchronization is the one that can compare the actual contents of the files independently of their names and dates.
Moreover, the program allows for data backup, for instance, copying important information to a USB drive. This is a one-direction process in which the files from the source folder are replicated exactly in the target location. A similar variant is content mirroring; however, in this case if a given file is no longer available in the source folder, it will be automatically deleted from the target one as well.
Another possible usage of the tool is to download webpages and even websites; this works as a spider that can download not only the specified page but also the linked contents. Besides, you can decide what types of files are downloaded. Luckily, the resulting copy can be browsed offline because the program lets you convert hyperlinks.
