QupZilla is an open source utility that comes as an alternative to using Mac's Safari for browsing the web. The program comes with a built-in ad blocker, brings you a fully-customizable interface, is packed with an integrated password manager, and so much more.

Like in many other web browsers, you can visit websites, mark your favorite webpages, fetch content from the Internet with the help provided by the built-in download manager, etc. Its interface is quite similar to the ones you see in other popular web browsers, but it's fully customizable. You can choose between various themes, change font style and size, etc.

In my testing, the program didn't work that well. To be more exact, it took a while to launch and it occasionally ran slowly. However, this doesn't mean that the utility will work the same way on your computer; it could work slowly because of my Mac. The one thing that might not sit well with some users is that, unlike many of its competitors, it's compatible with a few plugins or extensions.

To conclude, if you're looking for a feature-rich alternative to using Mac's default web browser, QupZilla might be the solution for you. Even though it comes with a couple of flaws, the utility brings a lot to the table and uses fewer CPU resources than most web browsers.
