Racer is a simulation game in which you race against other players or the computer. The game includes various tracks to choose from and even though it gives you the option of selecting cars, there is only one available: the Lamborguini Murcielago. You can play a quick race against other computer players, play a free driving which allows you to know the different tracks or join an online multiplayer game. If you select a quick race, you can customize the number of cars you wish to play with, the track, and the numbers of laps.
From the options menu, you can customize controls (keyboard or mouse), graphics, sounds and gameplay. When trying the game, the game cashed several times and I had to restart it, specially when trying to access the Free Driving mode.The screen shows the speed in miles per hour and kilometres per hour, and you can see a map of the track, and the rear view. The game has nice but not impressive graphics, sounds are fine and there is no music.
In short, I really wouldn't recommend Racer because you will surely find better racing games out there.
