ReadAir is an RSS feed reader for both Windows and Mac OS X PCs. The application has been built entirely on Adobe Air, which means that it is multi-platform and is backed by an extensive framework. ReadAir resembles the look and feel for Google Reader, perhaps the most widely used RSS reader in the world. Since it looks exactly the same and works pretty much equally, ReadAir should be not hard to get used to. The application allows you to do anything that you could otherwise do on the web version of the reader. You can subscribe or unsubscribe to feeds. You can search for anything on any of your feeds. You can mark all the items read or unread and share stories with others. This project is relatively new, so there are many features missing for a desktop RSS reader. The most important missing feature is offline mode. It is said to be on the to-do list, so you can expect to see it soon. On the advantage side, I can note that the application allows you to use several hot-keys for carrying actions on your feeds or articles, something that you can't do on the web version.
