Real Car Driving is a free racing video game wherein you can live on the fast lane with gorgeous cars. Developed by Magic Kingdom Epic Games, this 3D simulation game features realistic-looking car models and driving controls.

Similar to Extreme Car Driving Simulator, Real Car Driving lets you man vehicles with the right real-life controls using your keyboard. However, contrary to its name and official program description, it’s actually a car parking simulator thatdoesn’t offer any game mode other than parking your car. It’s also riddled with ads despite being a PC game.

Advertises the wrong game

According to its developer information, Real Car Driving is supposed to be a racing simulator game that lets you compete against other cars. However, when you launch the game, not only does its title change to “Real Car Parking” but the gameplay actually turns out to be parking challenges. There are no other game modes available and you can only choose Day or Night Mode for the lighting.

There are 75 levels that scale in difficulty. The main goal is to drive your car into the glowing yellow box on the ground and stay still for a few seconds while the box turns green to win the level. You must avoid colliding with anything as you traverse the small parking garage—otherwise, you have to restart. Unfortunately, there’s no tutorial for the keyboard controls.

The left and right directional arrows or the A and D keys are for steering. Acceleration is on the Up arrow or the W key, while braking is on the Down key or the S key. Aside from being a completely different game than what’s promised, the camera panning is annoying. Plus, ads show up on the sides of the screen regardless of fullscreen mode. They play during levels, too.

Could use a lot of fixing

All in all, Real Car Driving is quite a disappointment. While it’s a free game that doesn’t require many resources to run, it’s not honest about what it offers. There are also a ton of ads that cut into your gameplay—potentially ruining your current progress on a level. If you want better car parking games, there are loads out there. There’s even a better Real Car Parking game on mobile.
