The Repair Privileges Utility is a tool used to reset the default configuration of Mac OS X system files and Apple-installed software. It will undo any changes made to the privileges of these files and directories, but may not affect third-party software. This utility can be used to fix errors of type -192 or alert messages that appear in Disk Copy.
