RipCast is an application that allows you to record streaming audio from the Internet. It is really easy to use and fun.
Its interface is like a browser with four tabs:
1. Ripcast Home: where you will find information about the program.
2. Station Browser: a tool that will help you find radio stations with different genres and bitrates to choose. You can listen to the music or record it with the Ripcast Agent.
3. Current Download Manager: in this tab you will find a download history and the current streams being recorded by Ripcast. Here you can pause, stop or resume ripping process.
4. Rip Collection: where you will find all your downloads.
I enjoyed this tool, it is really useful for those who like to listen and record music from Internet Radio and want their music collection to grow. You can download and use this version of Ripcast for free, and if you want additional features, a commercial version is also available.
