Roads of Rome is a time management game created by Realore. This app is the first instalment in the Roads of Rome series where you play as a brave warrior whose objectives are to build roads, find new towns to expand the Roman power and to convince Caesar to offer his daughter's hand in marriage.
While playing the first couple of missions you will receive various instructions. You will learn how to collect resources (cut down trees for wood, gather fruits, etc.), build roads, and much more. You can choose between two game modes: Challenge (missions are timed) and Relaxed (no time limit). The goals for every mission are displayed on the upper-left side of the screen.
If you play the Challenge mode, you have a certain time limit to complete your goals. The quicker you finish your tasks, the higher your final score gets. My only issue is that you cannot assign multiple tasks to your workers. You can give an assignment to a worker only after he completes his current job.
Other than that, I really enjoyed playing this strategy game. The challenges were pretty different from one another, with individual lists of goals.
Hence, you should give Roads of Rome a try if you're into playing time management games on your Mac.
