RunCat is a menu bar application that displays the most relevant system information. Therefore, the tool is designed to help you monitor CPU consumption, memory details, disk capacity, and network connection. Having these indicators gathered in a compact view gives you a clear picture of the computer system's health so you can react proactively when the situation requires it.
The app provides basic system information. Yet, what makes it attractive compared to other similar software programs is the key-frame animation that lives in the menu bar. By default, the tool's icon has the appearance of a running cat, but you can change it with other runner profiles available for selection. Optionally, you can create a runner of your own based on a custom image. In addition, you have the ability to invert the running speed, flip horizontally the running direction, and change automatically the runner profile at every 10 minutes.
