The SAP NetWeaver Business Client (NWBC) is a powerful desktop application that provides a unified environment and a single point of entry to access SAP applications. It enables hosting of classical dynpros (SAP GUI UIs), Web Dynpro applications, BSP pages, portal pages, and other content. The SAP NWBC can be used with or without the portal depending on the need to access ABAP back ends directly. Furthermore, the SAP NWBC supports generic desktop functions, such as drag and drop, popup windows, and more, utilizing the corresponding APIs.
