Scanner Sombre is a video game, where you find yourself in a cave. The goal of the game is to explore the cave and locate items that will help you get out. The world is dark and you only have one way out - by using a LIDAR scanner. You can find the LIDAR scanner by exploring the cave and finding it on the floor. The LIDAR scanner is a trigger and when you press it, the scanner emits a laser that determines distances, revealing your surroundings. It is possible to turn off the beam if you don't need it. This cave exploration experience is based on the games Gone Home and Dear Esther.
