Screen Mimic is an app that can record your screen. It can then save that recording into a video file that you can later export in different formats, including SWF, FLV, QuickTime file, or you can save the project to continue it later. The trial version only lets you record thirty seconds.

One of the good things about Screen Mimic is that it uses a simply wizard that takes you through three simple steps to decide how you want to record your screen. The first step asks you what you want to record. You can choose a mouse selection, a window or the full screen. If you want to, audio can also be recorded. The second step has two options and it lets you choose the frame rate. The options are "recording area follows mouse" and "hide recording area guide". Basically, these allow you to set the recording area to move as you move your mouse on the screen and the second one removes the green area that appears on your screen, which establishes the area that will be recorded. The last step shows a couple of hotkeys to stop and pause the recording, and lets you start recording immediately or after a delay.

Screen Mimic works great and it is very easy to set up and use. I don't think it works on secondary displays that are not set as the main display, though.
