ScriptFlow is intended to manage code snippets. It has the characteristic of allowing you to save the snippets to the cloud. Thus, it is especially useful for software developers who need to access their pieces of code from everywhere, even portable devices. Although the application is extremely easy to use, it is a shame that there is no help documentation available just in case you need it.
The tool’s interface is very user-friendly. It shows a list of the snippets with their descriptions. Moreover, if your list of snippets is very long, there is a convenient search box to filter them by their names.
In order to create a new snippet, just press the Plus (+) sign on the upper left corner. Likewise, you can use the corresponding menu command. If you are using an external code editor, just select the piece of text you want to import, then drag and drop it into view. There is also a built-in viewer supporting syntax highlighting for various languages, including Swift, Objective-C, C, C++, C#, ASP.Net, Java, Javascript, PHP, ActionScript, HTML and CSS.
All in all, ScriptFlow can boost your productivity as a programmer by allowing you to access your code snippets from practically anywhere. Unfortunately, it does not let you decide on the cloud services you want to use. Likewise, you cannot add custom languages.
