Synopsis - Shards of the Past

While returning from what was supposed to be a routine trading trip to a nearby town, a young man is pulled into an epic story of your making. Along the way you will meet new people and see incredible sights as you travel across the continent seeking to solve a great mystery. What you find will cast doubt in your beliefs and history as you know it, while allowing you to create a future of bright exploration or epic destruction. With a branching narrative and multiple possible outcomes, you shape the story with your actions and choices

Choices have an impact in this story and even the smallest one will have a big change on dialogue while many other choices will take you to new scenes and even new story paths. Choices can also lock you out of some scenes and paths and even impact which ending you will see. Most choices cannot be rolled back so saving often is advised.This game is designed for that that have a love of "Choose Your Own Adventure" style storytelling and gritty, mature drama and adventure.

Many choices come into play now as well as having an impact in further updates. Achievement System. Image gallery with images unlocked via gameplay and earned achievements. Journal system that describe your character's journey so far and gives possible insight into the motives and actions of those you have interacted with. Complete soundtrack for all scenes and events.

ATTENTION: "Shards of the Past" is a story first visual novel that focuses on character development and world building with an emphasis on meaningful choices. Due to it's slow burn nature there are currently no sex scenes in the released content. Those will appear later as the story and your relationships with certain characters develops further.
