ShrinkIt is an application designed for Mac that enables you to reduce the size of your PDF documents. This simple-to-handle program might come in handy whenever you wish to transfer a large-sized PDF file and need to compress it so that it can be attached to an email.
All you need to do in order to work with this utility is to drag-and-drop the PDF you wish to compress and wait for the result. You won't have to configure any output settings or choose a destination folder.
I like that you can drag-and-drop as many input files as you want and the utility takes a very small amount of time to offer the results you need.
The one thing that bothers me about this application is the fact that it doesn't provide you with any output configurations. For example, you cannot select a destination directory for the output file, choose the quality level of the images within the PDF, remove bookmarks, etc.
With that being said, you can find better solutions for compressing PDF documents on your Mac. Even though this program comes without a price tag, I still think it lacks important features to help you get the exact results you require.
