Shutdown Element is a program that will speed up the shutdown processes available in your system. This program will allow you to lock, log off, restart, or shut down your computer, as well as to put it in stand-by or hibernation mode just by clicking on the corresponding tiny icon that this tool will place in the taskbar.
By default, this tool will place six icons with different symbols and colors that will perform different tasks. The first one, the gray one, will make the system go into hibernation mode; the purple icon will lock the console; the orange icon will log off the current user; by clicking on the red button, you will shut down the computer; the green icon will let you restart the system; and finally, if you click on the blue icon it will leave the computer in stand-by mode.
In order to use this program, you must have a computer with a Pentium processor or higher, Windows 95 or higher, and 2 Mb of free hard disk space. You will be able to choose which buttons to include in your taskbar on installation. The only way to remove any of them later is by right-clicking on it and choosing the "Delete" option. However, all six buttons will still be available in the program's main window. The program leaves no trace when uninstalled.
