Singlemizer is a small Mac utility designed to help you find duplicate files on your computer. You can use this program whenever you're dealing with a large music collection and wish to eliminate duplicate songs, need to reclaim disk space by deleting unnecessary file copies, etc.
You can drag-and-drop multiple folders over the app's interface and check if they contain any duplicated files. The application takes a minimum time to scan their contents and reveal the information you need. If the program finds any duplicated files, it displays a list showing the similar files in pairs. You can preview them and decide which ones you need to keep on your Mac and which to permanently remove from your computer.
This new version brings you a new Quick Look integration which enables you preview a large variety of file formats. What's more, the program now shows you how much space you can save by deleting the unnecessary file copies from your computer.
Another important aspect is the fact that the scanned directories don't need to be located only on your Mac. You can import folders from any external storage device that's being connected to your computer, network shares, etc.
All in all, Singlemizer is a simple and efficient Mac program that helps you identify and remove duplicates with just a few clicks. It also comes with a reasonable price. So, I can't find any reasons why you shouldn't give it a try on your computer.
